Do you feel like you’ve tried everything but can’t stop worrying? Have you been unable to overcome past trauma, or do you suffer from high stress or depression?
I’m here to help. I provide a safe and inclusive space for our clients to heal, recharge and redirect their focus on what matters most to them.
Hi, I’m Sue and I consider myself to be a comprehensive therapist with a focus on Somatic Therapy. I provide a safe, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere so that you can feel comfortable during our sessions.
I’ve struggled with stress and anxiety myself, and I know it can feel overwhelming. Fortunately, I’ve learned ways to heal, self-regulate, align with my values, and actually enjoy life again. I want to help you find that same peace and meaning.
I believe this is one of the best times to work on oneself and heal in therapy. Recent research has shown that our brain never stops changing. You actually have the power to reprogram the brain or re-wire your nervous system in a way that makes your life better.
I’d be honoured to be a part of that process.
“Sue is a kind and compassionate practitioner. She gently and expertly guided me through the therapeutic process, allowing me to heal and grow as a person. This experience has been invaluable.” —Anonymous.
I provide targeted therapies to help you heal and thrive. We’ll often start with mindfulness and self-soothing skills so you can experience relief as soon as possible.
Then with ongoing therapy, you can practice responding to stress differently, in ways that are healthier for your mind and body. When needed, we can also address patterns and thoughts that are getting in the way of how you want to live your life.
Most importantly, I’ll see and support you as an individual, and customize therapies to your specific needs.
Clients often start to feel relief within the first few sessions. Over time, most people have a decrease in symptoms, along with new ways of coping and responding to stress. Many clients report the following:

“I’ve waited 47 of my 52 years to just be heard. Luckily, I met Sue, an empathetic, compassionate, genuine adult, with a non-judgemental ear, and willing to listen. I cannot thank Sue enough for providing me with such a safe environment. To allow me to finally unload a weight I’ve carried alone for so long & actually gain some clarity.
Always encouraging awareness of feelings and tension in my body providing gentle discussion & guided strategies. After our sessions I often found myself sitting calmly, smiling, feeling empowered, as I continue on my healing journey!” —Anonymous.
“I’ve spent many years dealing with depression and anxiety and seen many different therapists. I’ve never experienced a therapist as compassionate and understanding as Sue. With one session, she was able to help me with a threatening work crisis and toxic personalities in a way that I felt empowered, safe and centred in myself.
In another session, she helped me go from a state of panic into a state of ease, and unraveled my snarled thoughts in a way that has had lasting impact beyond the situation that I was in distress about. Sue has made a huge impact in my healing and I feel I’ve recovered in leaps and bounds from years of trauma. I feel I am finally in my body, finally at peace and finally able to cope with stressful situations as they arise without getting flustered or losing control.” —Anonymous.
